Government Authority located in Colorado; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for web design and implementation services using WordPress CMS.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide web design and implementation services using WordPress content management system.
- Update look and feel to be more modern
- Use more graphics and imagery to display content (e.g. infographics)
- Employ a mobile-first approach
- Create more compelling, visually appealing program pages that distinguishes from competitors and encourages enrollment
- Appeal to both traditional college students ages 18-24, and non-traditional age 25+
- Allow for the inclusion of more video content
- Update how calls to action are displayed
- Site design must be differentiated from other local community colleges, and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Design must adhere to principles, use a mobile-first approach and render well on desktops, tablets and a variety mobile device.
- Since only select pages will be redesigned, the new design should not completely conflict with the look of deeper-level pages.
- Usability testing to validate design with prospective students.
- Design will render well in all major browsers, including Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, Firefox 27.0 and above, Chrome 31 and above, Safari 7 and above.
- Implement page templates in the CMS and customize the CMS as necessary (e.g., site structure, personalization, incorporate third party applications such as WordPress blog, Intelliresponse, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Optimized images and graphics for web and mobile.
- Depending on implementation approach may setup a secondary environment to test new code before it is moved to production. Provide assistance throughout this process, if necessary.
- Provide HTML support if modifications are needed for the templates to be implemented in the CMS.
- All source code delivered to by project completion.
- All code will be reviewed by staff prior to implementation on our servers and subject to changes necessary to conform to our organization’s standards and configuration. Provide debugging of code, if necessary.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 25, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
