[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide youth mentoring services to refugee youth between the ages of 15-24 living in the area, these services will be designed to help youth achieve their educational and vocational goals and integration and also include the identification and recruitment of refugee youth participants, linkage of those participants with individual mentors, and subsequent referrals to and enrollment into vocational assistance to the government authority located in Denver, CO.
- Must have significant prior experience working with refugee, immigrant or English language learning populations, organization must have a full understanding of, and sensitivity to, cultural differences and have experience facilitating cultural bridging in social settings.
- Operate an English as a second language program on site;
- Provide services through a mobile approach, meeting refugee youth where they are and at locations convenient to them;
- Provide services to 10 refugee youth per grant year;
- Provide face to face mentoring to refugee youth on a weekly basis, with individual case by case exceptions as needed, mentoring through other means such as group mentoring activities or electronic and distance mentoring are also allowable methods but emphasis must be placed on the individual in person relationship;
- Mentors should reflect attributes that represent the goals of refugee youth, such as university students or adults employed in occupations desired by youth and reflect experience as an English language learner, immigrant or refugee;  
- Mentoring may include workplace mentoring where matches are made between a refugee youth participant and an employer or employee of a company in an industry that the youth shows interest in;
- Organization must be willing to work with local regional workforce centers, community colleges or other institutes of higher learning to co-enroll refugees into workforce programming;
- Provide referral and linkage to local regional workforce centers, community colleges or other institutes of higher learning and conduct follow-up and reporting on clients’ progress with career development and employment acquisition.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
